Amanda Esposito holds a B.A. in Pre-medical Psychology with a concentration in Childhood Development and Personality and Social Psychology from Cornell University and is a musical graduate of The Juilliard School, Pre-College Division. She has danced for Rioult Dance NY, Ballet Hispanico 2, and Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company, appeared alongside Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and performed works by Alvin Ailey, Robert Battle, William Forsythe, Ray Mercer, David Parsons, Pascal Rioult, Pedro Ruiz, Matthew Rushing, Paul Taylor, Eduardo Vilaro, William Whitener, and others.
Ms. Esposito has most recently served as Dance Captain/Swing with the smash-hit Broadway show The Illusionists and has extensively toured nationally and internationally with the production. She was the 2013 recipient of the Judith Jamison Scholarship while a Fellowship student at The Ailey School.
Select TV credits include Limitless (CBS) and Tricked (iTV).
Ms. Esposito’s background in music, medicine, adolescent and young adult psychology, and professional dance experience allows her to provide a truly comprehensive approach to her classes. With a focus on alignment and injury prevention, she challenges her students’ cognition and mental processes as much as their physical and emotional experience as she teaches throughout the tri-state area.
TESTIMONIALS
Amanda Esposito is both a beautiful dancer and a kind instructor. She graces the dance floor with an easy smile and a kind heart. Her patient presentation puts students at ease where they are made to feel comfortable making mistakes while progressing at a steady rate. Her pre-medical background enables even dancers who have sustained injuries to be guided carefully to improve and thrive. Jon & Isabel truly enjoy working with Amanda and are grateful for her time and thoughtful training. Even during Amanda’s in-person short leave of absence she provides continuity of training and communicates with instructors who may work with her students in person during her absence. We highly recommend Amanda

I worked with Amanda Esposito for my College Dance Audition, and I have to say, she was one of the nicest, most patient people I have worked with thus far. Not only did Amanda help me execute her choreography to a T, but she has a great personality and a friendliness while teaching. She helped choreograph a routine that not only fit my skill level, but was fun to move to and demonstrated my dance abilities wonderfully. For not being a strong dancer, Amanda helped me to look distinguished, and I am forever grateful!

Amanda is the "real deal". I haven't danced in years, and would never call myself a dancer, but with Amanda's guidance helped me feel confident with learning a dance from a video and then recording it for a big audition. Not only is Amanda one of the most amazing dance teachers I have ever had but she also teaches you to understand. She did this all over a zoom call, which is a challenge all on its own, but with Amanda, it didn't feel like one.
