Dominque Salerno
Originally from San Diego California, Dominique Salerno is now a New York based actor, writer, and improviser. Her award-winning solo show "The Box Show" received rave reviews, won many awards, and has been featured at FringeNYC (Overall Excellence- Solo Performance Award, Fringe Encores Series), United Solo Theatre Festival (Best Comedic Script), The PIT, and iO Chicago. Other writing credits include her web series, "Characteristically," pilot "MATCHED" and one act play "So Small A Thing." Other recent acting credits include: The Color of Light (Schoolhouse Theater), Laughing Wild (LATC), P****Sludge (Here Arts Center), and Love and Information (A.C.T.). She is one half of the musical feminist comedy duo: Feminarchy, who sings songs to smash the patriarchy one melody at a time. Their viral videos have been featured in HuffPost, The New York Times, NowThis, and more. She performs musical improv with “The Moustache Apologies” and long-form improv with her Armory House Team "Ol' Chuck” at The Tank. She has over 18 years of improvisational comedy experience, having performed and studied at iO Chicago, UCB, The PIT, Magnet Theatre, Endgames Improv and The Groundlings. Education: MFA in Acting from American Conservatory Theater; BA Princeton University.
