Elana Safar

Elana Safar harbors a giant passion for mentoring talent and has been working with The
Prep since 2020! She has a proven track record for helping students book their very first
roles on Broadway, in TV/Film, commercials, and sign with top agents and managers, as
well as gain admission to leading performing arts schools and universities. She is also an expert marketing professional who rewrites bios, resumes, and websites.
Elana earned a Master’s degree in Educational Theatre from NYU, a BA from Brandeis
University, and trained in Terry Knickerbocker’s two-year Meisner conservatory. She
previously interned in casting at the Papermill Playhouse and publicity at Universal
Records. She is also certified in dealing with mental health issues and disorders (audition anxiety, clinical perfectionism, ADHD) under Michael Jacobs, PHD.
As an actress, her TV credits include Quantico, The Blacklist, Damages, Small Miracles,
and Jimmy Fallon. Currently repped by Take 3 Talent, she has appeared in films,
commercials, musicals, plays, and staged readings opposite such legendary performers as Brooke Shields and Tovah Feldshuh. Elana also loves to write and contribute thought
leadership to this field and was published in American Theater Magazine.
She brings her friendly approach and sharp intuition to diagnose exactly what each
individual needs to move their skills, career, and mindset forward. Ultimately, Elana makes sure that her clients built confidence, learn practical techniques, and feel good while doing it!

Working with Elana for the past year has helped Quinn grow and improve tremendously as an actor.
