About the Event

This series is open to the public. The Prep Acamdey is excited to introduce acting 101 where students will learn monolouge, scene work, improv, character studies and so much more w/ Nick Jupinka

 Nick Jupinka is an actor, director, musical director, choral teacher and multi-instrumentalist based out of New Jersey. Nick graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied acting, directing and voice at the Atlantic Theatre Company with William H. Macy, David Mamet, Robert Bella, Neil Pepe and Karen Kohlhaas. After graduating, he starred in the Off-Broadway production of Johnny Panic and the Bible of Dreams at the NYC Fringe Festival where he assumed the role created by Jason Ritter. Nick is currently the Choral Director at Thompson Middle School (Middletown Twp) where he conducts the 7th and 8th Grade Choirs, T20 Select Choir, and acts as Musical Director, crediting “Once On This Island Junior” as his most recent production. Nick earned a Masters Degree in Music Education and taught as an adjunct professor at Monmouth Univ. He is matriculating for his Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Music Education at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers Univ.
