About the Event
Acting Technique Series w/ Sam Parker and Tom Pecinka
Break down scenes with Sam Parker and workshop them on-camera with Tom Pecinka! In this multiple week course, Sam and Tom will teach students the steps on how to prepare and perform audition material. Actors will first meet with Sam Parker and analyze scripts, identifying character clues and utilizing techniques to create an honest and emotional performance. Students will then meet with Tom Pecinka and perform the previously assigned scenes. Tom will give actors individual direction, adjustments and feedback to sharpen their on-camera technique and simulate audition scenarios. Sam and Tom are so excited to offer their expertise and guidance in this brand new, collaborative workshop!
Sundays, April 2nd - April 30th (except April 9th)
Sam will be teaching both classes on weeks #1 and #2 (4/2 and 4/16)
Tom will be teaching both classes on weeks #3 and #4 (4/23 and 4/30)
