On Camera Commercial Acting w/ Sam Parker

Week 1. Slates and Copy

We'll begin this session by practicing slates and answering 'personality' questions. Afterwards, we'll study standard commercial copy. We'll work on finding and playing commercial beats, as well as connecting to the camera.

Week 2. Buttons and Take Variation

We'll start by discussing and practicing improvised 'buttons' at the end of scripts. We'll work on two styles of buttons, verbal and non-verbal. Afterwards, we'll work on 15 second spots to practice take variations.

Week 3. Putting it all together
