Join us The Prep Co-Owners/Founders to learn all about the the ins and outs of the industry! The Prep Owner Series will be the first of its kind offered virtually to our students. This 5 week program is specifically geared toward Prep Students who are NOT on Theresa or Jessi's personal rosters. Deadline to register is January 31st. Students on Theresa/Jessi's rosters who wish to take this class may register if there are spots available February 1st.

Week #1: Self Tapes & Your Home Studio *For Parents & Students* w/ Jessi Clayton and Theresa Pittius (Drop-in option available)  

Week #2: Voiceover Technique, Tips & Tricks w/ Jessi Clayton (Drop-in option available)  

Week #3: Breaking down your BREAKDOWN and pre-self tape prep work w/ Theresa Pittius (Drop-in option available)

Weeks #4 & 5: Script Analysis and Scene Work w/ Jessi Clayton and Theresa Pittius **NO DROP-INS/ASSIGNED SCENES**

Her expertise in social media marketing, self-promotion & branding as Co-Founder of Social Sidekick® Media, Branding & Public Relations has taken her career counseling for her students to the next level on social media, television interviews, national & local press, and established digital media presence alongside her partner, award-winning publicist Cassie Galasetti. ​

Theresa was the Founder/Executive Producer and Host of the Bar-Top Bandits™ nightlife touring production for 5 years: a headlining spectacle with Broadway and Country Music stars, boasting residencies in Rockefeller Center & Times Square, Atlantic City to Vegas, and the legendary Stone Pony and Asbury Park Convention Hall in Asbury Park, NJ. 

Graduate of The American Musical & Dramatic Academy (AMDA), NYC and Michael Rodgers Studio in Milan. Proud member of SOVAS™ (Society of Voice Arts and Sciences). She is certified in Mental Health for Performers & Advanced Vocal Technique under Michael Jacobs Vocal Studio, NYC. She is also certified in British RP under Michael Rodgers Studio in Milan, Italy, as well as Advanced VO Technique under Anna Garduno of Voice Forward in NYC, and currently studies under acclaimed Director/Teacher Larry Moss.

Jessi’s students’ professional credits include Broadway’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Young Harry); Caroline or Change (Noah); Sound of music (Marta, Friedrich), Mrs. Doubtfire (Natalie); Flying Over Sunset (Archie) Moulin Rogue (Lady M); Off Broadway’s Trevor (Trevor) Match Girl (The Little Match Girl) BAM’s workshop of Medea (Edward) Tour: Frozen (Young Anna and Young Elsa); Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Charlie) Christmas Story (Tap Ensemble) and West Side Story Tokyo (Shark); as well as The Met’s Premiere of The Hours (Quentin and Richie) Jessi’s students of all ages can be seen in numerous regional theatre productions; feature films, network productions, and major streaming services including ABC, NBC, Hulu, Netflix, Disney Plus, Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Apple TV, Comedy Central, Amazon Prime, FX & many more. 

Jessi believes in helping actors find freedom in their work by first and foremost being themselves in their acting. Jessi guides students through activating the imagination, trusting yourself in your work, and finding fun and play. Jessi works closely with Sarah Baskin (Anthony Meindl’s Acting Studio) to further develop solid, foundational acting technique for young actors. 

Jessi believes that technique is the “foundation of vocal health, stability, and growth and should be first and foremost in our development.” Jessi currently works closely with NYC’s top vocal teacher, Michael Jacobs, to further develop her advanced technical approach consisting of breathing, stretches, tension release, and placement. The ultimate goal for us as singers is to stop thinking about every step while singing because the foundation is completely reliable. If we trust the process, amazing transformations can happen!
