Theresa Pittius (Studio Owner/Master Instructor/Producer/Director/Mentor)

Co-Founder, Co-Owner - The Professional Performance Prep "The Prep"

Bi-Coastal Acting, Voice Acting and Vocal Instructor/Mentor/Coach. Theresa's students of all ages can been seen on Broadway, National & International Tours and Regional Theatre, in Feature Films as well as on Television networks & major streaming services like HBO MAX, Apple TV+, Netflix, NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, Showtime, AMC+, Amazon Prime, HULU, Nickelodeon, The Disney Channel, Paramount+, Disney+ & more. From Sundance to Tribeca to Cannes, her students' projects shine across world venues, and currently play 65 Series Regular roles in various television productions.

Collectively, Theresa's students have booked over $20M in projects since 2021.

Theresa's voiceover clients range in age from 4 to 54, and have starred/are currently starring in numerous animated features and popular animated series across streaming services and major networks, as well as in national commercials, radio, audiobooks, dubbing/looping projects & podcasts. She and business partner Jessi Clayton own one of just two SAG-AFTRA - approved Recording Studios in the state of New Jersey at The Prep, hosting high profile recording sessions for A-list VO talent w/ all of the major networks for animated features and series.

In addition, Theresa's expertise in social media marketing, self-promotion & branding as Co-Founder of Social Sidekick® Media, Branding & Public Relations has taken her career counseling for her students to the next level on social media, television interviews, national & local press, and established digital media presence alongside her partner, award-winning publicist Cassie Galasetti.

Theresa is an Expert Contributor for Backstage.com, a member of SOVAS™ and a proud graduate of The American Musical & Dramatic Academy (AMDA NYC, 2003). She is certified in Mental Health for Performers & Advanced Vocal Technique under Michael Jacobs Vocal Studio, NYC, as well as British RP under Michael Rodgers Studio in Milan, Italy. Theresa currently trains under Anna Garduno of Voice Forward NYC and acclaimed Director/Teacher Larry Moss. Proudly signed with Rebel Creative Group & Take 3 Talent Agency for Voiceover.

Elana Bohm (Advanced Instructor/Executive Studio Manager/Mentor)

Elana Bohm was born and raised in New Jersey and has recently received her BFA from The Hartt School for Acting. She has been training under Prep Co-Founder/Co-Owner Theresa Pittius as well as several other Prep Instructors in all disciplines for the past 7 years, and worked hard as a Prep Intern for the 4 years before being promoted to Executive Studio Manager.

Elana loves working with children and watching them grow into confident, driven individuals. She has extensive expertise teaching young actors, including children with Autism. Elana recently Co-Starred in the hit CBS Television Primetime Series "The Equalizer," Guest Starred in "Calls from the Inside" on Investigation Discovery, and plays a supporting role in a feature film released just last year. She has also appeared in many regional theatre productions throughout the tri-state area.  Elana is proudly represented by Artists First in Los Angeles, CA.

Taylor Kaplan (Advanced Instructor/Producer/Director/Mentor)

Taylor Nicole Kaplan is a Bi-Coastal Voice Actor, Actor, VO/Acting Coach/Mentor who began working professionally at the age of 11. She currently voices the iconic role of "MOLLY" on Seasons 5 & 6 of Nick Jr.'s hit animated children's series, Bubble Guppies. Her voice is also featured in multiple episodes of Sesame Street's Elmo's World. Taylor has appeared in various commercials, including the Capital One commercial alongside the infamous Taylor Swift. She was seen in both community and regional theater, including the regional production of “Annie” at Axelrod Performing Arts Center with Andrea McArdle, where she appeared as the orphan "JULY". In her spare time, Taylor enjoys sharpening her triple-threat abilities, attending dance classes five times a week, and training in vocal and acting technique. Accompanying herself on guitar, piano, and ukulele, Taylor has also dedicated her time to learning the ways of a musician and had her first professional gig in the summer of 2020. 

Earlier this summer, Taylor will be busy filming opposite Academy Award® winner Julianne Moore in the upcoming Brad Ingelsby Drama/Thriller Echo Valley for Apple TV+. She is currently the sound technician/sound engineer at our SAG-approved studio, The Prep (NJ & NY), as well as an Advanced Instructor in Acting Technique/Voiceover. She has been studying privately under Theresa Pittius for 7 years, and is proudly signed with Thruline Entertainment in Beverly Hills, California and Osbrink Talent Agency (NY/LA).
