Born and raised in the Boston area, Justin Montello-Cullinan has a broad background in the art of acting. Since a young age he has been performing in theater and at the age of 14, entered the professional world after booking his first co-star role on Defending Jacob. Since then he has booked multiple short films, independent films, commercials, and more. He is based in New England and New York for television, film, voiceover, commercial, and print. He trains at The Prep with Sarah Baskin, Jessi Clayton, Brandon Salerno, and Theresa Pittius.

Justin's experiences working in the business have helped shape his coaching, teaching, and connections with his students. Formerly working at a bi-coastal talent agency, Justin was responsible for submitting actors on Breakdown Express, reviewing self tapes, managing and selecting headshots and media, editing actor profiles, assisting with the onboarding of new clients, selecting talent for potential meetings to gain representation, and more.

Justin started working at The Prep in February of 2022 as an intern. Then, as of January 2024, Justin took the role as Studio Manager at The Prep NY, where he helps manage marketing, social media, classes, promotions, communication with students and parents, and event planning. He coaches privately and in group formats virtually and in person in New York. Justin is so passionate about this industry, his students, and The Prep!

Also, as host of Youth Industry Talks, he interviews and gives young people in the entertainment industry a platform to share their personal journeys, issues in the industry, advice, and more conversational style.

Justin is currently enrolled at The New School of Performing Arts majoring in Dramatic Arts.
