Voiceover Showcase with Allie Silber of DDO Artists Agency

Ticket price for Showcase includes a digital submission folder and time slot for the showcase. In person students will perform live reads in The Prep’s voiceover booth as well as any other vocals. Virtual students will be able to join and perform via zoom.

The Prep voiceover instructors will help students pick competitive materials, and the vocal instructors will help select 16-32 bar cuts which students can sing a cappella or with a track. (Please note singing is not required).

• Voiceover Instructors: Taylor Kaplan, Mindy Lease, Sam Parker, and Nick Ciavatta.
• Voice Instructors: Kara Pizzolo, Andrew Widger, and James Rocco.

*Students are required to take three hour-long lessons prior to the showcase in preparation.*

Students will be asked to submit the following to their digital submission folders:

Headshot, Resume, VO Demo (Animation and Commercial), Singing Sample, VO live read samples and live singing option if desired. At least one voiceover demo is encouraged, but not required. If you are interested in creating a voiceover demo please email info@theprepnj.com.

Learn about Allie:

Allie graduated from Boston University with a major in Film and Television and a minor in Public Relations. She started her career out in the Children’s and Young Adults Division at Abrams Artists Agency as an Executive Assistant to the Head of the Children's Division in July 2017. She was quickly promoted to Agent-in-Training, and then shortly after, to Agent within her short time at Abrams. She represented kids for On-Camera Commercials, Endorsements, Voiceover and Print. Since September 2019, she has been an Agent for Voiceover Division at DDO Artists Agency, where she now represents both kids and adults for all things Voiceover - including Animation, Commercials, Radio, Podcasts, Video Games and Audiobooks to name some categories. Allie works with high-profile casting directors from all over the country, including Nickelodeon, DreamWorks, Disney, 20th Century Animation and more! She continues to scout, develop and represent talent from across the country.
