Characters! They're more than just funny voices - they are like each of us but living in heightened circumstances. Learn how to create original characters, establish location, movement, personality and techniques that will inspire your creativity as well as give you the confidence and foundation to book jobs. Anna will break down what makes a great animation demo as well as suggest marketing homework and podcasts. Create funny, original characters for animation and games!

• How would you voice a southern preying mantis on a blind date?
• What does a vegan spider sound like?
• What does a French chef who happens to be a pig on a talk show sound like?
• What does a grouchy bat sound like?

These are just a few of the characters you'll voice with Anna! Imagination will be our greatest tool so come prepared to see a crazy world in front of you, to laugh, play and have fun creating characters from simple sounds. Looking forward to seeing you in class.

Learn More About Anna: 

Anna Garduño is an Actor- Producer- Teacher and the founder of

VOICEFORWARD. Anna recorded her first radio spot when she was 15

years old , shot her first TV job at 17 years old. Anna teaches classes

for VO Commercials, Animation, Promos, Narration, and Games, and

has been nominated Best Voice-Over Teacher two years in a row by the

readers of Backstage.com. She is the only nominee to be given this

honor by two of the most profitable voice-over recording cities on the

globe, New York and Los Angeles.

She teaches for The SAG Foundation,Voice Actors of NYC, NAVA, Livo,

VO Atlana, ONEVOICE Conference, is on the faculty of the Tom

Todoroff Conservatory, teaches for The PrepNJ, and has been a guest

teacher for NYU Voice Over program.

As an actor Anna has decades of experience as a VO artist. She can

currently be heard voicing the character of PALMON on the DIGIMON

animated series as well as Selby the bear on the animated series

KIOKA. Anna was nominated best character voice actor for her role as

Kiera in the PlayStation games Jak and Daxter 1 and 2 by the Academy

of Interactive Arts and Sciences. Anna teaches group classes as well as

private classes on Zoom.

VOICEFORWARD students have booked over a million dollars in jobs

through pay to play sites as well as through agents they work with

based on their demos. Annas students also book jobs directly from the

demos she creates with them.

Anna produces demos with her students working closely with each

student to write/ and or select and rehearse copy that is best suited to

their unique strengths and range. Agencies Anna’s students work with
