About the Event

Rebecca Faulkenberry is a performer, working on Broadway/West End and in numerous tv/film projects. When she's not performing she has thoroughly enjoyed teaching and mentoring future performers for the last 20 years.

In particular her on camera classes dissect the differences of working on camera versus theater. They identify the most important things to look for when you get a script, how to break it down and specify your character. Class will be recorded and sent to you each week, so you can look back on your progress through the weeks. "By the end of our 4 weeks, I hope you feel confident submitting for auditions, to agencies for representation, or ready to take that next step in your performing - whatever that may be!" - Rebecca

Learn more about your instructor:

Rebecca is a singer and actress with credits spanning network television and Broadway.  She has had leading roles on Broadway in Rock of Ages, Spiderman: Turn off the Dark, and the original cast of Groundhog Day.  Some of her TV and film work includes; Madam Secretary, Blue Bloods, Instinct, Doctors, The Heart She Holler, and Martin Scorsese's The Irishman.  Rebecca has a Bachelors in English and Theatre from Indiana University, and a masters from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Musical Theatre Performance. She has taught at a children’s performing arts school in Scotland, as well as AMAW in NYC, and has years of experience as a private coach in singing, acting (theatre and tv/film), and voiceover. Rebecca herself is a continual student, taking voice and acting lessons. The work is never done and you can always get better. Some of her best teaching moments have been on set working with actors and directors.  It's hard not to play Al Pacino's daughter, and not learn a thing or two while he sits next to you doing a monologue.
